8주차 연습 후기

This week both of the classes were ZOOM

Dancing Class

The first class we did was dancing and it was actually the first time to do a dance class live. We did a review of #6 My Friends Forever, Ice Cream because a lot of people wanted to learn the footsteps of the dance. We can choose if we want to have partners like our siblings or our parents and I chose my little sister Louise to do the dance with me. I thought we would start from the very beginning till to end but we started from the lines between the song. The dance was pretty hard and I still didn't get the footsteps and I feel like my footwork didn't match with my sister and we keep getting confused of the partner dance part. Our dancing beat didn't match at all but I feel like we could do it better if we watched the video of the dance.

Acting Class

The 2nd class is acting class and we started with a few warmups like gently rub your hands to warm your face and relax or loosen your mouth with finger at the sides and blow mouth lips. We also top it off with some Shouting “Hey” and “Why” in different volumes and breathing in-stop-spit in 3 seconds, 5 seconds and so on with bass, mid, and treble sounds.

Next we started with some mimes like swiping up and down with your palms as if there were a wall and go up the wall and I feel like that is the most used mime scene in the history of mimes. Next we pulled a rope and pull heavy things like a rock or pull quickly for a something light. Next we eat our favorite ice cream (mine is Candy Bar) but we had to eat it quickly because 1 min until musical class time. Lastly we had to eat fart flavor ice cream with expressions.

Then we started with something new which is gaze acting. He also told us eye gazing is important in acting because if you blink your eyes and if your eye gazing is trembling then the gaze will also be transferred to the audience. That's when I finally got the whole thing of the acting. We did some activities like Find and look to see items of the color of the rainbow in 1 min and I found only red and orange items which was my dog's toys. Next we see a word that starts with Ha for 1 min and I found nothing but could only think of Hippo (Hama). Finally we had to count my house number in 2 min which I no idea what that meant.

Finally we did some reaction and action lines acting from a few scenes from our musical with a little twist. The first scene was the opening and we had to feel full of joy getting brightened by the sunlight when getting outside and say “Good Morning Good Morning” to people far away or close. That was pretty weird to say when there was no one except you in your room. Next was the 2nd Scene when Anne meets Matthew and we waited at the train station to get my present but gets curious because train is not coming and finally the person comes to give the gift scene. The last scene was the 3rd Scene when Marilla meets Anne for the first time and we had to react as if we saw a person that wasn't what we expected. We did a few lines from the scenes like I will never forgive the women! or Friends? Thinking about makes me so excited. We couldn't finish all the lines because we didn't have time.
