9주차 연습 후기

ZOOM ACTING CLASS

Today we started off with some usual everyday warmups like roll your neck or stretch our legs. The most specific one we did was putting our tongue on the back of our teeth and talking about our holiday. I talked about my practicing my speech for Student Council election then we took our tongue's off and it sounded much better than before. I feel like that warmup is a great way to start of a new day in the morning. First we started with some Animal Acting and it was pretty fun. The first animal we had to do was a angry dog and I got good reference from my own dog at my house and she usually gets angry at strangers anyway. We also had to add a line to the acting which is "Hey! Stop it!" because of "our" owner touching us. Next we had to act like a gorilla saying "Ugh! It's frustrating!" while puffing out our chest and hitting it like when a gorilla gets mad. Next we had to act like a sparrow and say “Hey ! Listen to me !”. The sparrow acting was pretty hard but I barely examine a sparrow but the acting teacher helped us so it went well. The last animal acting was wolf howling "Water!". The next thing we did was image training and at first I was like what? But the teacher told us it's just practicing to imagine the scene in our minds. The first scene was that we just arrived at Avonlea station and we later we arrived at the green roof house and start to think what to do. I started to imagine myself visiting the places that Anne named like the white way of delight or shining lake. The last image training was imagining that we were in Earth 200 years later and what would our house be like. I imagined that there will be robots doing all my work while I just sit back and relax. Next we created a people relationship diagram of ourselves individually. I wrote my family of course and a few of my friends. The last thing we did was reaction/action line acting. We didn't had a lot of time so we only did a few. The first line was when Anne hears the students gossip about her and Anne says "What did you guys say?". I imagined that the students were gossiping that I was weird. The 2nd one was Ruby's line which is "Mmm… what is this but why is this so delicious?" when she tastes the wine that Anne thought was the raspberry cordial. I thought I was eating something but at first it looked like a salty cracker. Last but not least we did Josie Pye's line which she says "Look who is this ? Isn’t this the drunken gang ?". I pretended that I was teasing the people that I hate if I was a mean girl. Then that was the end of our last online acting class.

Voice video online class

The next class was voice class and we started off with some vocal warmups like we do everyday. We started off with some sings~ and some hung - kee with hand motions. We also did a cow voice and my favorite the Donald duck voice. A few more warmups later we started on #8 I hate you Gilbert. The song was about Anne going to school on the first day and when she gets mad at Gilbert. I really like the part when Gilbert and Anne does a collaboration of going back and forth singing their lyrics. The song was pretty good to sing and then we started on #9 I accept your apology. The song had some really high parts and I kind of wondered how will a boy who gets the role of Gilbert sing so high like the song.But before we left the 1st class we can comment on the video or song saying it's too high on this or that so I think it will be ok.

I'm not sure if we can go back to the classroom next week but I wish we could all meet back altogether again! ^^
