ZOOM ACTING CLASS

Today we started off with some basic warmups. The warmups that were new is to Say Ha with a smile and with staccato 10 times and Say He with a crying emotion with staccato 10 times. The teacher said that a lot of people didn't had their lips upward when saying Ha. Also he said when we are crying with the word we need to put a little air in between the sobs. Then we started off with some mimes and the teacher said a word that I didn't really understand in Korean so I found the meaning in English. ÀǼº¾î ÀÇžî means Onomatopoeia. Now I knew what he meant. First we tried with the mask mime and in each of them we need to mime out to our family and let them guess. For the mask I made the shape of a mask with my hands and pretended to hang onto my ears. They guessed it right. The next was ice cream and the teacher said we could use Onomatopoeia like screech or munch. I used lick lick and cold feelings. They guessed it right. The next was sparkling drinks like coke or cider and I used some sound words to mime out and they guessed that one right. The next was flowers so I did a growing emotion and said Bloom when the flower went to the end. They guessed it right. The next was a challenging was blossoms. I tried to use my last technique and added a little smell mime but they said flowers again so they got that one wrong. The next was a lake and I didn't know what to do so I just made a hand motion of a circle and I acted like a duck but they thought it was duck so that one was incorrect. The last one is doctor and I used my little sister to use for the patient and they got it right. Next we did some imagination training. We imagined how the station would look like and I kind of got the same picture as the teacher showed us. The next one was the view of Avonlea while riding the wagon and I almost got a bit out of hand. The next was the inside of the Avonlea school and we also acted out the students at the school. I acted out some kids talking about the problem or talking about what to do in recess time. We moved on to creating a family member analyze and I did my little sister. Lastly we practiced some of our Anne musical lines. First we did Anne saying I¡¯m so glad meet you. Then we did Matthew panicking but trying to hide it by saying I¡¯m sorry I¡¯m late. Lastly we did Marilla saying So Ann , with an e can you tell me how you got here? and What we wanted was a boy. What happened Matthew? Then that was the end of the acting class.

English Script video

The video started off with #6 lines / song / dance. The lines were pretty fun to act out and because the voice range of the character's voice is high my throat kind of hurts. The song was easy to do and I like the melody. The last thing was the dance of #6 and I tried to remember the dance but I think it went well. Next was #7 lines / song only. The lines were really fun and I like the song a lot because there is multiple ranges of voice singing like boys or girls. The last was #8 lines / song only again. This was also the scene full of the students and I really like the feeling of the song and lines.

That was the end of the practice for this week and I hope we go back to seeing all my friends again^^
