11주차 연습 후기

1st Class : Voice Online class



Today instead of having ZOOM for our first class we watched a video of voice class instead. We started off with some siren warmups like the normal / the siren with ranges / and lastly the one with no sound. Then for our last warmup we did A / E / I / O / U / MIA with singing ranges. We finally moved on to #10 and oh boy it sure was high! After we listened to the song we did Heng / Ki exercises with hand motions and did the Donald Duck exercises too. Then we did a twang exercises and the teacher told us to sing twing with the melody of the song instead of the lyrics. I almost got off hand and sang the lyrics but I came back up again. Then after a few more twang singing we spoke Everybody wait's for you with hand motions. Overall this song is pretty high for my vocal cords but I got caught up at the end. Lastly before moving on to #11 we sang Happy Birthday as a warmup to wrap up #10. Next we did #11 and all the 3 parts. The first part is after Mrs.Barry takes Diana away because Anne got her drunk and the teacher told us that this is a sad song. We first listened to it and spoke with the sound Hoo like we are crying and also for Hee. Then we did a ghost voice and to say hee and then we did a few more routines of #11 part 1.
Next was when Minnie May gets sick and Anne helps her. After listening to the song the teacher told us to sing Hoo like a cow with ranges and then sing the real song like a cow is crying. The last part was Mrs.Barry says Anne and Diana become friends again. First after we listened we sang the song with twee. Then after we did some jaw training then we stretched the cheeks. Finally after a few more run through of the songs we learned we ended class.



2nd class : English Script practice



The practice started when Gilbert try's to apologize to Anne but she declines and leaves. The lines were easy to do but when #9 came out my voice kind of cracked. Next we did when Anne and her friends become drunk. I really love the lines and the #10 because it's really fun to sing along to. I feel like when Anne and her friends act like adults every type of mom style the girl roles are acting should be a little different. We did a few more run through's of that scene and song like doing a different role every time.
