Today is the last(?) online practice of The Taming of the Shrew

ZOOM CLASS ACTING

Today we started off with warmups like putting our tongue at the top of our mouth and talking about what we did over this week. Then we took our tongue off and spoke normally. Every time whenever I tried the putting tongue on top of mouth thing I think my pronunciation is getting better. Then we moved on to some speed mime practice like peeling a skin off a tangerine / we only have a few minutes before class so we have to wash our face / brush our teeth / wash our hair. Then we moved on to some breathing practice like breathe in by seconds and spitting out sssss / breathe in by seconds and make noise by bass / mid / treble. Then we moved on to some ages range speed acting practice which is acting like the age range and we did 1 - 102 years old. Then we moved on to different character practice like acting as a gangster and a coward. Then we did some reaction practice like sprinting a hand / having our nails painted then putting our hands in the air dryer but our whole body starts to get itchy / studying then sees a tiger but closely it is a doll. Then we did some pronunciation practice using the words ¤¢ / ¤¾ / ¤¸ / ¤µ / ¤§ / ¤·. Then the teacher showed us a 2 character relationship diagrams then he showed us one he made about The Taming of the Shrew. Then we moved on to some line acting practice like Philip : Actually there is a women whose personality is a bit weird and grumpy / Baptista : (Sighing) You misunderstood but you can¡¯t win over Caterina / Petruchio : Have you seen ? She is shy so she is acting like that ! Our love have always been so violent. And then we also changed the ages like 40 - 80 while acting the lines.

2nd Class Voice Online

First before we started class the teacher told us the definitions of the words that she uses the most often which is Hard Palate : Thin horizontal bony plate made up of two bones of the facial skeleton, located in the roof of the mouth / Soft Palate : The muscular part at the back of the roof of the mouth. Then we started off with some warmups like Heung Kee Heung Kee with pushing our nose / Put air inside our mouth and sing ranges / Original Siren / Siren with chewing / A / E / I / O / U / MIA / A / E / I / O / U / MIA with melody / Say Oh Yeh with stretching the words / Say AHH but first make it crumbly then make it clear / Move tongue around our mouths /
Sing Happy Birthday by brushing our lips / Quack Quack Quack. Then we moved on to learning #4 WEARING A MASK. The process was like this Listen to the song / Sing the song as Guu Guu Guu / Say EEE strong then say heee softly / Spit at the teacher / Sing the song as Guu Guu Guu again / Sing the song again with real lyrics but emphasize the chosen words / Sing the whole song with real lyrics. Then we moved on to #8 RUDE WEDDING. The process was like this : Listen to the song / Say Teu Teu Teu then say Twe Twe Twe / Sing Hwee with the 1st part of the song / Sing Hwee but chewing at the 2nd part of the song / Sing Twee with the 3rd part of the song / Sing Hwee with the last part of the song / Sing this routine one more time / Sing the song last time with lyrics.
