8/28 Homework

For 8/28 practice, there was online zoom acting and dance class.
For acting class, we first tried to work on our pronunciation by putting tongues behind our teeth and talking. After I finished talking, I spoke normally without putting our tongue behind our teeth. My pronunciation became a lot more clearer than before. After working on our pronunciation, Bong Da Roon teacher introduced the musical Romeo and Juliet as a tragedy. After introducing Romeo and Juliet we practiced facial expressions such as being happy and in love as well as dying. We practiced how to die by drinking poison and Bong Da Roon teacher told us to use our imagination to think about what the drink would taste like. He also told us to imagine that we were a character when falling in love and that was method acting. We also learned how to act angry and how to have anger in our faces. He told us that we should have a wide and diverse range of imagination to act well. After that he taught us about breathing and taught us how to breathe by breathing in and holding your breath and saying a wide variety of sounds and he tested how long we could say these sounds. He also told us how to use staccato to say ha loudly and how to laugh clearly. To finish off the class, we use the lessons above to say the lines of Romeo and Juliet with love.

For dance class, we learned the dance for song 1 with Chon Chang Hoon teacher. The dance moves for the fighting part are fast and complex so I need to focus on those. I also need to focus on the foot movement during part 1. I will practice this song a lot after it comes out on the website so that I can master this song.
