9/4 Online Class Review

Yesterday I had my online class. Different from last week we had vocal and acting class with Mr. John!

Vocal Class:

Our first class was vocal class. Before we started the lesson the teacher told us to do some warm-ups. We vibrated our lips, hummed and made the sound ma. After that, we started learning song 1 (Prologue). We all first sang the song all together with the music on. Then, the teacher divided the song and two or three of us needed to sing the part she chose. When the teacher called my name I got a bit nervous but I sang. I finished and I felt really happy and relived since the teacher told me that I sang really well! Even if we didn't have a lot of time left we sang a bit of the 2nd song which was "Love is like sand in my hands". I really think that I should sing more louder and confident next time in the class and in the audition.


Acting Class:


Our second and last class was acting with Mr. John. Mr. John first talked about how no one remembers why the two families 'Capulet' and 'Montague' hated each other since they started fighting over hundreds of years ago. Mr. John also talked about Romeo and Juliet's families and how the Montague (Romeo's family) are really rich and how the Capulet (Juliet's family) are very high class people. Then he continued talking about the story and the characters. I think this was helpful since now I'm sure I understand the story more. He also told us that the Italians are very dramatic and use a lot of hand-movements when they express their feelings.

Even if we didn't meet each other in real life I enjoyed the class! I can't wait till we meet each other offline and till the audition! I hope we all stay safe;)
