9/11 Homework

For 9/11 online class, we had acting class, and vocal class.
For acting class, Bong Da Roon teacher taught us acting. Bong Da Roon told us to first put our tongues behind our front teeth and told us to say hi as well as what we did last week to improve our pronunciation. He told us why we should work on our pronunciation and how it improves the way we speak. Next, he told us about sight. He told us how our sight affects our acting and how blinking a lot is harmful to our acting and undermines our emotion. To practice not blinking, we played a game that tested our ability to not blink a lot. However, he also told us times when we shouldn't keep our eyes open and told us, we need to blink and not blink in certain situations. After that, Bong Da Roon teacher gave us some word play sentences and gave us speeds to say the sentences. This gave us better pronunciation from the hard words we said really fast. The final activity has us acting out 3 questions that Bong Da Roon teacher gave us. All of our class acted a scenario and we all watched each other act out their situation. Bong Da Roon teacher told me that I was more realistic.

For vocal class, Valerie teacher first did a warm up by using aaaaa. We went for higher notes using aaaaaa as our voice. Valerie teacher told us that the vibration of our voices should be in the nose and more forward instead of backwards. Valorie teacher told the boys to use vowels to practice our voices getting deeper notes. We then used numbers to go forward and then backwards in tone. Valorie teacher told us that we should relax our voices by putting the sounds near our mouth and face. After that, we had English language review. She gave us a review on some words that are hard for Korean speakers to pronounce like world and marriage. After reviewing the hard words, we moved onto the songs. We first did song 4. Valorie teacher broke down this song and its rhythm and notes so that we can better understand this song and sing it well. The next song we did was song 5. Valorie teacher told us how this song went and how we should sing some of the parts in the song, After that, we had a review on all the songs we learned so far and, sang all the songs that we learned.
