9/25 Online Class Review

1st Class: Acting (English) with Mr. Brad

Our first class was acting and I was really excited since there was going to be a new teacher! We started off with some tongue- twisters. In my opinion I thought the first one we did was the hardest. It was "peter piper picked a peck of pickled peppers". After that we did a few more which was also hard. Then we started reading and acting the lines of a part of the "Romeo and Juliet". These were the characters that were in the script:

Caudio
Frederico
Benvolio
Tybalt

I volunteered to be Claudio. It was really fun acting the character and also listening to the other members of the team acting out their lines. Next, we did an improvisation game where we chose two letters that our movie needed to have in their title and then we needed to say what our movie was about. It was a really fun game!

2nd Class Acting with Mr. Bong

Our last class was Acting with Mr. Bong. For our warm-up we put our tongues behind our front teeth. We talked about what we did for our break. Next we did some mime. And mimed out making a burger than eating it. Then we did more mime which was really fun. Mr. Bong gave us 10 photos and we needed to mime them in front of our parents and make them guess the answer. I got 8 our of 10 right. I really enjoyed this activity since I got to mime in front my my parents and see if they guessed the correct answer. I think the meerkat was the hardest to do since I didn't know how they acted like. Overall, I liked the activities.

Even if we were supposed to go to the theater I was still glad that we still had the class. I hope we can see everyone offline next week and for the Covid cases to decrease.
