10/2 Homework

For 10/2 class, we had English acting class as well as dance class.

For 1st class, we had English acting class with Brad teacher. We first did some tongue-twisters to work on our English such as Why do you cry, Willy and How much wood would a woodchuck chuck. After working on our tongue-twisters, we did a little bit of dialogue about ice-cream. We also worked on the dialogue with several different emotions such as being angry and being sad and using that emotion to say dialogue. After working on our acting with the dialogue, we did a scene in the musical. Brad teacher went over the scene with us and used different emotions to convey different lines. The scene in the musical was kind of a funny scene. After working on the scene, we played 2 games. The first was But, ____ says it better!, in which you need to make a story with other people in a sort of relay style game which was nice. We also played Movie Movie again, which was good fun.

For dance class, we had to dance song 6 called Destiny. We were taught the dance moves for the song and the teacher taught us these moves more precisely than the video. The dance has fast movements and lots of leg movement so I need to practice more to get in tune with the song.
