1/3 Camp Day1 review

Today we had day one of the three day camp. It started with the draw of the showtime for the teams. Our team leader did a very great job. She picked Thursday 4:30 and Saturday 4:30. I am very happy with my showtimes. After the draw, we started camp day one.

The first period was about having a quick run through. It was a run through doing the lines and singing. I was impressed that we can finish a whole performance with revising and reviewing in a hour and 30 minutes.

My second class was another run through with Dan hanging and two other teams, The other teams were A team and C team. I learned a lot from watching the other teams and how they express danced and show impression on the lines. There were also a lot of changes and replaced parts in my lines taking out a single word and also changing the character who I¡¯m talking to.

My third class was another run through with Kevin teacher. This time I did not lose my spot meaning I was not lost from where we were starting and ending from and I knew exactly when I needed to start my lines.

And my final class was another amazing run through again. This time we were working on our pronunciations and we went through the part several times to check if we got this right pronunciation.

And that wrapped up my very first day of camp of Romeo and Juliet. Tomorrow I¡¯m going to the theater class in person in the morning.
