For 1/8 practice, we did a full run on the musical with JA and JB. We first practiced the ending songs and rearrange the positioning for the song.
After practicing the ending, we first started on song 1 to song 12. As Friar Laurence, I practiced songs 4, scene 7, and song 10 as well as the ending. For song 4, I should have more chemistry with Romeo, that makes this scene more fun. I need to give off more emotions that could possibly make this scene more fun. I should work on giving off as much emotion as I can, in the best way possible.
For scene 7, there is no dialogue, so I need to give off a warm feeling as a Friar when conducting the wedding.
For song 10, I need to give off a very steady and coordinated feeling for the plan of Juliet to work. I should try to give off these emotions through my voice and facial expressions since there is no dance in this scene.
