It seemed like it was just yesterday when I stood on the stage as Mercutio getting stabbed my Tybalt and seeing my family and friends watching me, but this weekend our Theater Seoul group were already diving into a whole new play. This Saturday, I had a fun and interesting class because it was the start of a new creative experience with other actors and our teachers. I enjoyed the class because I got a whole new script and met my new team.

Last time the play was Romeo and Juliet and now it’s Around the world in 80 days. This new musical is in a much different setting and time than the last musical and I’m even more excited because it’s about traveling and I also like going to new places, seeing new things and unfortunately because of Covid I haven’t been able to do that.

It was fun to log in and see the new people that I was going to be doing the play with! I was curious to see who’s a good actor, who’s a great dancer, and who’s an excellent singer. I noticed some people looked like they were prepared. I saw some of the members using accents which made me think if I should do that too, but in this class, I did not do that, maybe I should do that in the next class.

In conclusion, I’m really looking forward to this creative experience with other actors and teachers. I can’t wait to see what role I get after the audition.
