4/2 Online Class Review

Today, here is a quick recap and review of what we did. The first activity we did today was practicing different voices. We said different sentences in different ways. We pretended to be an old person, a baby, etc. It was kind of funny with everyone talking with different ages and people at the same time. Second, we did some tongue twisters. Like the activity before, we said some tongue twisters in different voices. I think the tongue twisters we did today were easier than the ones we did in the other classes. Next, we practiced the script. We repeated the lines the teacher said but after that, some of the members of the theater read the parts. I found it interesting because I felt like I was listening to an actual play. After that, we did a game. To play the game the player needed to choose a hobby and needed to ask someone if they like to do that hobby, then the person the player asked needed to do the same thing but ask someone else. I thought the game sounded fun, but I wish I had a chance to play. Fifth, we warmed up our voices. We breathed in and when we breathed out, we made an ¡°Ah¡± staccato sound. I think I should practice this more because I seemed to run out of breath faster than the others. Sixth, we read the script in Korean. In my opinion, I think it¡¯s harder to act in Korean than in English. Lastly, the teacher gave us a character description of one of the characters in the musical, and we needed to act the character out. I think it is interesting to act out Mr. Fogg because his character traits are much more different than the characters I acted out before. For example, he is fancy, well-mannered, and posh. In today¡¯s class, I did a lot of different activities. I can¡¯t wait to meet everyone in real life next week.
