7/25 Camp

For 7/25 camp practice, I had practice from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
For the first practice session with AB team, we did ran through some songs and practiced most of the scenes while paying attention to what I can do better during these moments and what I shouldn't do. Not much changed during this session.
After lunch, the dance teacher came to give advice on the choreography on some of the songs. We went over some of the songs AB team had a hard time with. There were some new positions and some of the choreography changed so I should remember each change as to not make a mistake during my performances during the musical.
For solo J team practice, we went through the whole musical with a run and Kevin teacher gave advice on what to do during these scenes, like which position or direction I should be looking at during particular scenes. The Reform Club members also held an audition to see which member would get a solo performance during song 11 and I don't know the results yet, so I'm nervous to see which person will get a solo song. There were also new parts added like the du du du scene, which had new moves as well as new lines added during song 2. I should get more used to singing that part as well as the rhythm for it so I will be able to master it. The dance teacher told us to be more energetic during the songs as well as stretch our arms longer during the dance scenes so I should work on that as well. I should also work on getting the steps right during dance scenes because I'm still a little confused during those moments so I should get them right with more practice. Finally I should work on my acting, especially my faces and expressions more so they can convey the emotion I want to.
The camp for Around the World in 80 Days was still fun but I wish we could get to do more but couldn't because of corona. I should practice more since there is only a few weeks left till the musical performance.
