1. I listened to the guides from the beginning to the end and I have noticed that I speak my lines very fast. Especially when I have my young parsee monologue(?), I feel like I don't speak each word precisely comparing to how Mr.Brad spoke the lines. I have also learned that for a few of my roles, I don't need to overreact too much when I am saying my lines. I think I should use the guides more often when I am doing a run.
2. The directing teacher told me that my lines (acting) are improving better but instead, my footsteps don't match very much with my lines. So after rehearsal, I read the script again and tried to see what type(?) of footsteps would match the character. It was pretty hard to find especially for the characters who have the same nationality. Also, the director told me that my last line (last line of the whole performance) didn't have enough energy. Especially she told me that the last words "two people." dropped down. So I tried different variations and picked that seemed the most high and energetic. I think the part that I am most not confident is when the Indians attack the train and we have to improvise our lines. The directing teacher told me that I should calm down the passengers but for some reason, words won't just come out of my mouth ¤Ð¤Ð. I think I should practice improvising more.
There isn't enough time left until the performance. I should practice more and put on a good show !!!!
