I first watched the online lecture of Mr. John which I actually watched this a couple of times but it was good time to review the video again. Even though I saw this video a few times already, his lecture was still very helpful to prepare for my character. Because I already performed in this production once, it was much more easy to understand the flow of the scenes and I payed special close attention to Rooney, especially during song 8. Lastly, I practiced my songs and dances and for the songs, I already have the basic melody in my head so I focused on the specific notes and the lyrics. For song 8 especially, I have a hard time holding the last note until the end which is because my "breathing" is not that good so I think I need to do some breathing practice first. Because I wasn't able to go to the dance lesson for song 8, I worked on getting the dance moves correctly for song 5 and 6, plus I sang while dancing. It was especially hard to sing loudly while dancing to song 5 so I think I should increase my fitness.
