12/30 Homework

The first thing I did for today's homework, was doing a run through. I practiced all my lines, songs, and dances. I think I need to work on song 6's dance the most. Also, while dancing, I noticed how some songs are hard to sing and dance at the same time. I run out of breath easily. This is something I should definitely work on, considering I only have 2 weeks until my first performance.

The second thing I did was search for a character like mine. My character is Badock, a boy who only thinks about food (especially cookies) and not interested in studying. The first character that came into my mind was Jughead from the famous American comic book series, "Archie." Like Badock, he loves eating, is a poor student, and is not very smart. In one of the comics, the teacher asks him to clean the pot that was used to make cookie dough. As he's eating the cookie dough, he says, "Now, this is the kind of homework I like!" I think this is a very Badock-like thing to say.

Lastly, I searched some videos on YouTube that is about Little Prince. I found a short video. In the video, I found out the book is over 75 years old, the story was translated into over 400 languages making it one of the most translated books in history! Also, by watching this video, I noticed how there are so many people of all ages that still love the book because there are different feelings, such as greed, love, and loneliness.


I think Little Prince is unlike my previous musicals. I can't wait to perform!
