First, I watched Mr. Walcutt's video on acting. While I was watching, I came up with two ways that I could improve my acting. Firstly, I need to tell myself that I AM the character(Titania), not just that I am playing the role of the character. I need to act regal and graceful, because I am the queen of the fairies. Secondly, I need to think about how I am going to respond to the actions of other characters. For example, when I confront Oberon about his messing around with other girls, I say, "Oberon, I do not want to see you again." I will not yell or cry, because that isn't ladylike. I will firmly state it. Next, I double checked my script to make sure I hadn't forgotten to highlight some of my lines. Afterwards, I re-read my script three times to make sure I knew all of my cues and when to speak. Lastly, the character that I think is the most similar to my character is Professor McGonagall from the Harry Potter series. She's the first character that popped into my head, not because she faced the same situations as Titania, but because of the energy that she carries. She rarely looses her cool, and carries herself with an air of confidence. She also doesn't usually raise her voice at students, but she firmly scolds them if they do something wrong.
