Camp
Unlike the previous camps, this time we split into three roles. We had the knights, the fairies, and the couples. I practiced with the knights. Bong Da Roon teacher said that we needed better breathing based on what emotions we were feeling. He also said that we needed better reactions to the other actors words. We needed to listen to the others words instead of memorizing them. I definitely feel that I needed more expressive breathing instead of my normal breathing. I will try to practice more ways of expressing my emotions through breathing. For my reactions, I need more bigger reactions to the others words. With Brad teacher, he gave us a few tips on what we should do while we were speaking our lines. I gave a more heroic effect like what Brad teacher said on when I say Alright, I'll do it. instead of a more grumpy effect. I think this is more in character for Bottom so I like this change. For vocals, I think that I need a louder voice like what the vocal teacher said. I will also experiment on what types of high notes I should sing in to see what fits the best. For dance, there were some changes made to the dancing but not a lot was changed. I feel like I need to dance with more confidence since a lot of my moves feel like they are wobbling. I need to give more strength in my body so that I can give precise movements so I need to practice a lot. With Kevin teacher, we went over most of the scenes so I must make extra care in making sure I get all my movements right and make sure I never go to somewhere I'm not supposed to be..
