Finally, the day had come for my first performance. It was honestly nerve-wracking as I waited for 2 o'clock to arrive, the start of team D's musical for 'The Midsummer Night's Dream.' Luckily, I didn't make a mistake with where and when I have to enter/exit the stage, my lines, etc. This doesn't mean that I don't need anymore practice, though. An advice I was told a lot before and even after my show was that I didn't smile enough, making it seem that I had no confidence. Said this many times before, but I guess I really should pay more attention to my facial expressions because details as simple as that could change the overall ambience of the theater for the better. A few other points I thought I need to work on is singing louder, dancing more precisely with the sword, yelling clearer as I chase Bottom, and adding lots emotions into my dialogue. In the end, I thought I could've been better. Still, I thought our team's performance was great! Everyone worked hard to prepare for it and our hard work has paid off. I hope next time the audience will notice that I have practiced since today. Tomorrow, when I watch the other teams, I'm sure I'll learn a lot from those Quinces, too. Fighting, team D!
