I rewatched the Midsummer Night's Dream DVD video to review my performance. Overall, I feel like I wasn't trying to deliver my emotions through my lines. I was only focusing on my delivery and pronunciation and not the emotion I was feeling in my lines. I will try to go back to some of the basics of acting and try to feel what my character is feeling when I am in a scene. My reactions to some of things going on was a little bit slow like I wasn't experiencing something at the same time. I will practice my reactions to make sure they are in sync with the lines of other characters. I also felt that my acting was a little bit fake at times and didn't feel sincere with the character. It felt like I was trying to show my emotions and not really feeling them. My tune of dialogues also felt very high and too chaotic. I should try to make sure my dialogue is delivered with more precision and calm.
When I was dancing, I saw that I wasn't dancing with precision and my limbs felt too wild and sporadic. I should give more force into my dance this musical and make it look less cluttered and scattered.
My singing was a lot less smooth than my other musicals. I sounded like I had a hard time singing and my notes were very hard to deliver. I need to make sure I have a easier time singing so my notes can be delivered well to the audience.
Since I am one of the main leads in this musical, I need to figure out what my problems are and solve them fast. I should practice harder to give my best performance and play my role in the musical with a lot of responsibility.
