Camp Review

This is a list of all the things I learned during camp.
During song 4, I need more energy. The song is very exciting but right now, my energy and voice can't match that excitement. My voice needs to be more louder and my hand movements need to be bigger and have more strength. I feel like my voice gets smaller in the later parts of the song because I get a bit tired. I should make sure I reserve my energy evenly through the song. During my solo part, I should cut off my lyrics instead of dragging them to have a more thematic feeling with the song.
For song 5, I want my voice to be louder when I sing. Right now, my voice is too small so it seems like I don't have much energy as Ondal.
I learned the choreography of song 9. I should memorize all the movements and motions. They are simple but require a bit of timing so I need to get used to them quickly before the musical. My acting during this scene also needs more work. I can't portray my emotions of love very well so I need to research those emotions through shows and movies more.
Song 10, I should give more reactions since I don't have any dialogue. I should portray more emotions of curiosity and fascination when I'm reading books. I also need to listen to other character's dialogue more carefully and give bigger reactions. During some of my martial arts scenes, I should make more sounds and shout to realistically mimic martial artists. I also think that me practicing with the bow doesn't look cool so I will research how to mimic that. I also need to improve my chemistry with Pyeong-gang between scenes to show the love in between us.
Song 11, I need to be more excited when entering and show more reactions. I also need to memorize a dance as well as the lyrics. They aren't hard so I shoumd memorize them quickly.
During the war scene, I need to make sure I count the rhythm correctly and accurately. I also need to co-ordinate with my fellow actors to give a memorable war scene. I also could use more diverse sword fighting techniques when I'm fighting with my sword.
During song 13, when I enter, I need to have eye contact with Pyeong-gang, and guide her with my hands.
Song 14, at the end of my solo part I should show more determination and strength by raising my hand and forming it into a fist higher.
Overall, I learned a lot of things during this musical's camp. The teachers gave a lot of feedback so I will make sure I listen to that feedback and practice harder. It was a lot of fun to eat and practice with other people and next time, I will make sure I don't have any left overs after each meal.
